This pioneering programme draws together young emerging leaders across a range of employment sectors and pairs them up with experienced Christian leaders in those sectors to support their development. The scheme equips emerging leaders to understand how their faith informs and impacts their work and helps them to live out their faith fully as leaders within the workplace.
We are currently working with mentors in the following sectors:
– Retail Management
– Finance and Business
– Science and Engineering
– Creative Industries
– Church and Youth Ministry
Our next cohort starts in November 2017. To find out more or to get involved contact Beth.
Our Live:Love:Lead events are aimed at young adults interested in understanding how their Christian faith informs and impacts their lives and the city they are a part of.
The evenings consist of a TED-style keynote talk, followed by a Q&A panel with local men and women in faith in various sectors, as well as discussion as networking. The events are free and during 2017-18 there is a three part series:
Faith and Business: Saturday 27th January 2018, 7-9pm
Faith and Politics: Saturday 10th March 2018, 7-9pm
Faith and the Arts: Saturday 12th May 2018, 7-9pm
All evenings are hosted at Minor Oak Co-working in Sneinton Market in Nottingham City Centre. For more information or to book tickets, please contact Beth.
Fruitfulness on the Frontline
YLC is delighted to partner with LICC in delivering this excellent programme in a range of church settings for young adults to grow and develop in their faith and leadership, whatever their frontline.
This involves equipping them to think deeply about their own context, and develop a deeply Christian approach to life in all its fullness.

Entrepreneurial Action Learning Set
YLC is passionate about developing young creatives, and through this programme, we invest in small groups of young entrepreneurs who are committed to bring together their pursuit of business and their passionate faith.
This monthly action learning set provides an excellent opportunity for facilitated leadership and business development, as well as pastoral support and encouragement. To find out more or to get involved contact Beth.
The opportunity to travel overseas and develop younger leaders’ skills and experiences is offered through YLC with our partner Diocese in Natal – a residential experience in Autumn 2018 will take a group of leaders to South Africa to serve the local community, and experience inspirational leadership teaching.
